Built in 1923 at 400sf, two additions increased the size to 600sf. Work started with a light interior remodel in 1996. Then, in 1998, a large windstorm critically damaged the site’s prized maple tree presenting an opportunity to expand and improve the small house.
The new addition is 150sf with 430sf of seasonal exterior deck space. Interior remodeling: bathroom, a new kitchen, removal of the existing ceiling to open the interior. Exterior: residing the existing house and an entirely new site landscape.
